Recipe Candied orange peels
8 oranges, lemons or 10 6 grapefruits. Or all of these fruits mixed.
6 cups sugar + a little more for obvalivaniya candied fruit (not required)

Cut the peel into thin strips about the same size.
In saucepan, mix 3 cups of water and sugar. We put on medium heat and bring to a boil. Stir constantly to dissolve sugar – about 8 minutes. It turns sugar syrup.
Pour into a saucepan with the syrup candied strips future. Reduce the fire. Boil until candied become translucent and the syrup is thick – about 40 minutes.
Turn off the heat and leave to cool on candied in syrup for at least 3 hours. It is best to leave at night.
Cooled candied take out of the syrup with a slotted spoon or sieve.
