German Chocolate Cake

For the cake:
1.5 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1.5 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup boiling water

For the cream:
400 g of sweetened condensed milk
6 egg yolks, lightly beaten
110 g butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 2/3 cups coconut
2 cups chopped almonds


Heat the oven to 175 degrees. 2 forms (23 cm) Cover the baking paper and grease with butter.
In a medium bowl combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. In the bowl of a mixer to beat the butter and sugar at high speed, then add the eggs and vanilla. Whisk until smooth and pour hot water. Gradually enter the flour mixture. Mix the dough until smooth and divide it between the two forms. Bake at 175 degrees 35-40 minutes. Cool completely.
While cakes cool, prepare the cream. To do this, whisk egg yolks with a whisk the milk in a large saucepan. Add the butter and place on a small fire, stirring occasionally, until the cream starts to thicken (about 5 minutes).
Remove from heat, add vanilla, chips and nuts. Mix and cool. Then promazhte cakes and cream cakes in the whole surface of the outside. Leave the cake to soak for a few hours
