Recipe Roast beef with roasted onions and mushrooms
Roast beef – a solid piece of beef tenderloin, baked in the oven.
Very tasty and not at all complicated recipe.
For this recipe you will need: – 1 kg of beef tenderloin in one piece (thick or thin edge) – 4-5 small onions – 300 g mushrooms – salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Meat tied with kitchen string. Rub with salt and pepper. In a frying pan over high heat 2 tablespoons warm up vegetable oil. Put the meat and fry on all sides, including the ends, until golden brown, about 5 minutes in total. We shift in a baking dish. Mushrooms cut into halves. Fry literally 2-3 minutes in the same pan, where roasted meat. Onions cut into quarters and put together with mushrooms in the form of meat.
We put the form in a preheated 180 degree oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes. If you have a meat thermometer, it should show the internal temperature of a piece of 65 degrees. If a thermometer is not – check the knife – should flow from the puncture pink juice. If the juice does not flow – you’re too dry meat.
We take out the meat from the oven, cover with foil and give a rest for 10 minutes. Then cut into slices and serve with roasted mushrooms and onions.
