Toasts with green onions and cilantro
Chicken egg 1 piece
1 teaspoon salt
Ground black pepper 2 teaspoons
Chopped green onions 1 tablespoon
Cilantro (coriander), chopped 1 tablespoon
White bread 8 pieces
Vegetable oil 1 teaspoon
1. In a dish or bowl, whisk together the eggs with salt, pepper, green onions, cilantro.
2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cover the bottom of the skillet with vegetable oil and add a tablespoon or two of oil.
3. Dip the bread in the egg, shake off excess and place directly on the hot pan. Fry 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown color – should be crispy texture.
4. Place the cooked toast on a paper towel and gently dry.
